IN FRAGMENTS

Photographs, Disconnected moments. All records are fragments. Fragments of time become photographs, and continuous fragments become videos. The recorded fragments are mere elements orbiting the periphery of the subject like satellites. They cannot represent everything in reality or reproduce the truth.

There is no constancy in seeing either. The perception of the world changes depending on the circumstances, psychology, and memories of the moment. Everything is within the flow of each passing moment. The present is always changing, and the world emerges anew with each observation. There is no beginning or end there.

Yet, precisely because of this, photographs and videos can connect differences as they are, such as phenomena that occurred in different places, times, or situations, and manifest images in the viewer’s mind. Fragments do not tell a story; they act as devices that evoke imagination, within the experience of seeing each time.
