本作は『瀬戸内国際芸術祭 2013』の『醤油倉庫蔵アーティスト・イン・レジデンス・プロジェクト』で制作・発表した作品。デジタルカメラとマクロレンズを用いて満潮の海に反射した満月の光の軌跡を撮影し、その映像を160 のパートに分割してランダムに組み替えることによって、波という自然の力を、デジタルデバイスを通じて記録された光という視覚的な現象に置き換えて映像化した。

This video piece was produced at the “Artist in Residence Project at the Soy Sauce Warehouse” in Shodoshima Island, as a part of the “Setouchi Triennale 2013”. Recorded with a digital camera and macro lens, the work shows the full moon’s light reflected on the sea at high tide. The artist divided one long shot into 160 parts and rearranged the excerpts at random.
