都市空間は様々な要因によって変化を繰り返すが、ある空間がある状態から別の状態へと変化する時、その時間的・空間的・社会的な境界面に現れる場のことを「リミナルスペース」と呼ぶ。本作では、YAU STUDIOが稼働する直前の有楽町ビル10Fをドローンが回遊した映像と、電磁波を感知するレコーディングデバイスによって記録されたサウンドを主な要素として、東京の中心に瞬間的に出現したリミナルスペースの姿を可視化・可聴化した。小山泰介とサウンドリサーチャー・SOによるコラボレーション作品。

Urban space undergoes repeated changes caused by various factors. When a space changes from one state to another, the place that appears at the temporal, spatial, and social boundary of the change is called “liminal space. This work made visible and audible the appearance of a liminal space that appeared momentarily in the center of Tokyo, based primarily on video footage of a drone circulating on the 10th floor of the Yurakucho Building just prior to YAU STUDIO’s activities, and sound recorded by a recording device that detects electromagnetic waves.
