3台のモニターによって構成された映像作品《Daily Records (Ccscade》は、文字通り日々ライブカメラによって記録された映像がモチーフとなっている。2021年夏の終わり、明け方のビーチを映し出した風景はしかし、すぐに融解し、データが溶け出すように流れ続ける。明け方の約1時間ほど起こるこの現象を発見した小山は、画面をビデオキャプチャーし、再生速度を変化させて、私たちが目にするカメラ越しの光景に潜在するデータの流れを可視化した。

The video work “Daily Records (Ccscade),” composed of three monitors, is literally inspired by the images recorded by live cameras on a daily basis. The landscape of the beach at dawn at the end of the summer of 2021 quickly melts, and the data continues to flow as if it were melting away. After discovering this phenomenon, which occurs for about an hour at dawn, Koyama video-captured the screen and changed the rate of playback to visualize the flow of data potentially present in the scene we see through the video camera.
