コスメティック・ブランドshu uemuraの30周年アニバーサリー・ブックのために制作した作品。本作ではコスメティックの語源といわれる宇宙（コスモティック）をテーマとして、細かく砕いたアイシャドウをクレンジングオイルの中で浮遊させながら、鮮やかな色の破片が流動的に混ざり合う状態を撮影した。
COSMOTIC
This series was commissioned by the cosmetic brand ‘Shu Uemura’, for the limited edition book created for their 30th anniversary. The theme of “COSMOTIC” was to create images that resemble the cosmos using cosmetics – in reference to the resemblance between the words ‘cosmetic’ and ‘cosmos’. By grounding the eye-shadow into a powder and then letting it merge naturally with the cleansing oil, the artist photographed the vivid colors in its state of fluidity.
